Join our Community and become a Partner 4 Peace!

Thank you for your interest in the Peace Through Tourism movement! We believe peace is possible when we all work together and take a meaningful step forward —and we invite you to take that intentional first step forward with us today. Becoming a Partner 4 Peace requires no financial commitment, no reporting obligations no risk what so ever. You can connect with us as an individual or as an organization, either way we simply ask for your support to help promote Peace through Tourism at home and abroad. Working together with one voice, we can transform tourism into a force for understanding, sustainability and peace.

Below are three impactful ways to support our mission:

  • Who This Is For: Tourism Individuals or Organizations who want to take an initial first step into being 4 Peace and for basic Peacebuilding

    Goal: Begin integrating Peace through Tourism awareness into your current culture and promotions..

    .4 Peace Action Steps:

    1. Awareness - Internal Integration: Use our content & resources to create general talking points to share with your internal team on what Peace Through Tourism is and why it matters.

    2. Awareness - External Integration: Add a “Peace Through Tourism” logo and brief statements on your peace building direction to your company website and general marketing to support peace awareness.

    3. Operation Engagement
      a. Itinerary Review: Identify a few tours in your offerings where a cultural, environmental, or human connection could be highlighted as a peacebuilding opportunity.

      b. Traveler Connection Handout: Provide a brief pre-trip highlight email about how travelers can be potentially be “Peace Ambassadors” during their upcoming journey.

    4. 4 Peace - Pass It On:
      Ask your tour guides or tour staff to share one peace-positive story per month in a company newsletter, or email. Provide social media links for your travelers to share their experiences.

      Note: We are available to work with you on any/all of these steps. What’s most important is to take some initial steps and Peace will follow.

  • Goal: Actively embed peacebuilding into your organizational culture, program design, and traveler engagement

    Who This Is For: Organizations who are ready to make peace a signature value in how they operate and differentiate themselves in the Industry..

    Ideas 4 Peace Action Steps:

    1. Awareness (Internal and External).
      a. Make an investment adding Peace as part of your mission. Educate and train staff to seek out and promote peace building in your programs.

      b. Guide Awareness & Training: Implement a Peace Through Tourism training module for all tour guides and destination reps.

    2. Curate a “Peace Tour”: Develop or rebrand one existing tour itinerary specifically around peace themes (cultural resilience, reconciliation sites, eco-preservation, etc.).

    3. Engagement: Host an online or in-person showcase of your Peace Tour(s), and ambassador stories, aligning with global events or Peace Day celebrations.

    4. Pass It On
      a. Social Campaign: Share weekly peace-focused stories, quotes, or visuals from tours using a unique hashtag (#PeaceTripMoments or similar).
      b. Peace Wall of Stories – Compile traveler and team reflections into a visual (physical or digital) display to celebrate shared moments of peace at the end of the International Year of Peace.

    Note: We are available to help with any/all of these concepts. There is much opportunity here to be a strong contributor 4 Peace.

  • Goal: Lead change across your brand, through traveler experiences, and industry influence.

    Who This Is For: Visionary operators ready to take on thought leadership and peace partnership roles in the Peace Through Tourism movement.

    Here are some 4 Peace Action Steps:

    1. Company-Wide: Create and adopt an official “Peace Through Tourism Company Promise” signed by leadership and integrated into training, and marketing.

    2. Engagement Activation: Embed peace themes across multiple itineraries and regions in your portfolio (e.g., add a peace moment, interaction, or intention into each trip).
      Peace Promise: Invite travelers to register for your trips as a Peace Ambassador and plan intentional peace building activities.

    3. Connections
      a. Champion your Partnership in Peace through Tourism at all Events (trade shows, conferences,
      b. Speak on behalf of the Movement; Virtual or in person speaker or storytelling with others promoting peace through travel.
      c. Peace Scholarship: Create your own Peace Ambassador Travel Scholarship for underserved travelers to join one of your peace-focused trips.

    4. Pass It On
      a. Industry Advocacy: Present your model and learnings at a tourism conference or industry summit, advocating for peace practices across sectors.
