Be 4-Peace
Peace does not just happen, people make peace… and Peace starts with you!
To begin any peace journey, we suggest you start by looking within - to understand & strengthen your own inner peace. Peace is deeply personal, so no one can define that for you. This first step is on you, but to help, here are 4 areas of inner peace to contemplate:
Personal Peace - Reflect on what peace means in your life. What makes you feel peaceful and/or at peace. What environments, activities, people or practices help quiet your mind and heart? Peace often begins as an internal experience of calm, acceptance, and alignment with your values. Click here for more information
Professional Peace - Consider how you interact with those in your workplace and your professional life. Do you find mental peace and balance there? Are you a leader in peacebuilding with others? True peace requires mutual respect, empathy and connection, recognizing that sustainable harmony must address and resolve imbalances rather than simply avoiding them. Click here for more information
Community Peace - Consider about your sense of belonging within your various communities. Where do you feel included and valued? When have you experienced authentic understanding with those different from yourself? Peace flourishes in relationships where diversity is recognized not as a threat but as an enriching aspect of our shared humanity.
Global Peace - Reflect on your role as a global citizen. How do your actions at home & at work impact others beyond your immediate sphere? Peace involves stewarding our shared world through responsible choices that consider distant communities and future generations.
Be 4-Peace - Once you understand how you see & value peace, you have the opportunity to choose to be 4-Peace everyday, both in your personal and professional life. By recognizing that Peace in our DNA, just waiting to be unleased, we can begin the path of being 4-Peace.
